Are you…
* Confused about how to put together healthier restaurant meals?
* Challenged by supersized portions served in restaurants?
* Flabbergasted about sodium and fat counts of restaurant foods?
* Unclear about how to make special requests without creating a scene?

Do I have the book for you (but, perhaps I’m jaded because I’m the author!) Healthydiningfinder.com asked me to tell you about Eat Out, Eat Right – a book about healthy restaurant eating that nutrition experts have been recommending for nearly 20 years.  It’s been called “a book you can’t afford to dine without” and “the next-best thing to dining with a nutritionist.”

I wrote the first edition of Eat Out, Eat Right back in 1990 because as a dietitian and diabetes educator, I knew people were eating out more, and down-to-earth, practical guidance about how to eat healthful restaurant meals was non-existent. Eat Out, Eat Right, now in its 3rd edition, is in increasing demand because we’re eating out more than ever – an average of five to six times per week.

The book is compact and easy-to-carry. It helps YOU learn to dine in myriad restaurants from fast food to fine dining; and nearly every cuisine – from Italian, Mexican and Chinese, to Indian, Japanese and Middle Eastern. For each cuisine type, I offer a nutrition snapshot, a menu profile, green and red-flag words and sample meals which guide you in putting together healthier meals.

No doubt hurdles to eat healthy are high at restaurants! You’ll learn about these, from sky high sodium counts, to fat used in, on, and around foods. But then you’ll quickly learn to jump over these hurdles as you apply my easy-to-implement 10 skills and strategies. Just a few: practice portion control from the get go, master menu creativity and ask and you shall receive.

I’m also the author of several other books about healthy restaurant eating, including a couple of books specific for people at risk for or with diabetes. Gather more details about Eat Out, Eat Right and my other books at www.hopewarshaw.com and link to www.amazon.com to purchase.
