As a member of the Endocrine Web editorial board, I spoke with the editor of OnTrack Diabetes, the consumer-focused online resource for people with diabetes, for their Podcast Diabetes Dish. In this Podcast we tackled the topic of how to make permanent behavior changes, rather than continuing to chase the magic bullet for weight loss. I discuss,  in frank terms, why losing weight is not easy and keeping it off permanently is even harder. We discuss the importance of a positive mental mindset.
